The Highest Classes
The highest classes in the Caste system were the Bhramin and the Kshatryia. The Bhramin were the preists and the academics. The Kshatryia were the warriors and kings. Gods were considered the highest class.
The Lowest Classes
The caste system is a system of classes (or ranks) in Ancient India. People were born into their classes, and they cannot be changed. The class that someone was born in is basically their way of life.

The lowest classes in the Caste system were the Vaishya and the Sudra. The Vaishya were the merchants and landoweners. It was sort of like a middle class. The Sudra were commoners, peaseants, and serfs. The lowest class were the untouchables. They were outcasts and public cleaners.
