Hinduism

The Vedas are the holy books of Hinduism. Therer were four, and a lot of Hindu people memorized at least one of them. They were extremley important to this religion. Copies of these books include descriptions of fire worship, and fire altars have been found in ruins. This has helped us discover more about Hiduism and Hindu practices.

"Truth is one, paths are many"

This phrase, in my understanding, illistrates the base for Hinduism. I see this as saying that something is one thing, but there are many ways to see it. You can see something in many different ways, but hasn't changed.

Hinduism is and has been the biggest religion in India for about 2000 years. There is a theory, the Aryan Invasion Theory, that the Aryans started Hinduism, but there is now proof that it was started by the Indus-Sarasvati people. From what I understand, most of this religion has to do with the meaning behind the phrase "Truth is one, paths are many."
